First, large volumes of scrap are fed into the shearer’s loading bin with the help of a crane or grab. Our box is lined with a special coating, which is a wear resistant liner. Then use the left and right wings to compress the high-volume waste to form small pieces. The pusher then moves the waste forward to the throat of the cutter where it is clamped and cut into smaller pieces. This high-density and low-volume scrap reduces the cost of transportation and smelting and helps speed up the furnace. The machine is fully automatic and PLC controlled.
