Large gantry shear

The large gantry shear is a traditional machine for heavy loads with a “swing cover” and an over-traveled original compression cover. A new tail design is used to better support the main pusher, a more powerful diesel engine or dual motor. With a larger shear opening, the shear does not require the foundation to be equipped with a support structure in which the piping of the hydraulic system is operated. The structure also supports the shelter to protect the cylinder. The frame of these machines has two connectors, one support box and shear head, and the other for the motor, fuel tank and hydraulic system. The compression system is defined by a box body whose longitudinal and side faces are hinged to the base on two swinging covers. The master cylinder (on request) can be equipped with a longitudinal cover to protect the cylinder throughout the process.

The sides of the box and the inner and outer surfaces of the lid are made of wear-resistant steel. Specially worn shear parts are protected, plated and interchanged from sheets made of high-strength steel.
The wear between the shear rails is compensated by acting on the eccentric pins, ensuring precise guidance even after prolonged operation. The guide rails are made of hard steel and synthetic materials: in this case, foreign materials are allowed to be added to the plastic material, otherwise the guide rails will be damaged.
